Finding our Hope in our Journey with Children Affected with Ichthyosis

Hi everyone, I recently shared a testimony to a Christian Community my wife and I belong to about our journey having children with Ichthyosis, and specifically how we have found hope in what has been a difficult journey (as you all know). My wife and I recently discerned to have another child even knowing it comes with a 1/4 chance to have another Ichthyosis baby. My wife is due in a few weeks here and whatever the outcome, it will change our lives.
After sharing a dear friend gave us the following encouragement that "the path for their body may be hard, but the path for the soul is made easier." I have hope that there is truth to that, and we've already witnessed the beauty of our children and how they've pierced our hearts and the hearts of others.
Anyways, I thought this might be a blessing to someone here so I decided to share with this group. Please know we've come to care for all of you and your children and have been blessed by this FIRST private Facebook group.
