ARCI Study - The University of British Columbia
DO YOU SUFFER FROM AUTOSOMAL RECESSIVE CONGENITAL ICHTHYOSIS (ARCI)?
We are looking for ARCI patients (≥ 18 years old) to participate in our research project. To do so, we ask you to allow us to take a small punch biopsy of from a hidden part of your skin. We will then isolate skin cells from that sample and use them for our research. In this project, we investigate a new approach which may lead at some point to the development of a new treatment option for ARCI. For this, patient cells are very important to investigate if our new approach works.
We will reimburse you any travel-related costs.
Participation location: University of British Columbia, Department of Dermatology & Skin Science, Vancouver, BC, Canada
