FIRST is proud to announce this year’s 14 scholarship recipients from the UFIRST Scholars Program. These 14 students received a total of $13,500 in awards for their post-secondary education. Congratulations to everyone and we wish you the best of luck as you continue your education.

Goals & Aspirations: In the short term, I expect to earn an associate in science with my high school diploma and then in July 2024, earn an associate in arts. In the medium term, I plan on earning a bachelor's in Engineering (either biomedical or computer). I then plan on working at a technology company or going to med school.

Goals & Aspirations: I plan to get an undergraduate degree in biology or genetics and then to pursue a career involving genetics. So far, I am most interested in becoming a genetic counselor or in doing research in genetics related to cancer, rare diseases, precision medicine, or another related area.

There are so many job options in the world of social work and everything seems to interesting.
